Background and Qualifications

I have a nurse practitioners based Masters Degree, which includes subjects in pharmacology, prescribing, pathophysiology and research.  Other courses I have completed that contribute to my writing include:

  • Prescribing practicum - 200 hours of supervised prescribing with an existing prescriber.
  • Writing for the web - a course that enables content that works on a webpage.
  •  Health literacy hub and consumer enablement guide launch  - a workshop that looks at putting complex medical speak into understandable language.
  • Agile fundamentals - a course that examines Agile project management and a way to work with you more iteratively as a client.
  •  Professional Development in Research and GCRP  (GCP/ICH training) - A course that covered the importance of GCP/ICH in research from design to close out.
  • Advanced paediatric life support - for those looking for specific writing in paediatrics I have 18 years experience as a paediatric nurse and have completed the APLS course.
  •  NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme) training  to ensure I provide freelance services in an appropriate business approach.
